ieWord - Internet Explorer & Microsoft Word bindingIntroductionieWord is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that creates embedded Microsoft Word documents for text input boxes on a webpage. It should come in particularly handy for users who do a lot of web-based text entry (e.g. web mails, forums, blogs, diaries). Although ieWord doesn't take advantage of Word's markup it does provide a smoother typing environment. You can use inline spell checking, auto format, auto text and other Microsoft Word features. Word's hotkeys like F7 for spell checking and others work with embedded word as well. The program installs system component which tracks webpages in Internet Explorer and links word document to each text entry area of significant size it founds on a webpage. Using ieWord requires Microsoft Word installed on the computer.
